S.T.E.P.
Riding Programs are working in conjunction with
Heartland Ranch LLC
of Wakarusa, KS (just
a few miles south of Topeka) to bring to North Eastern Kansas some
very exciting riding options for all interested equestrians....
An
Educational Curriculum is designed to accommodate and benefit
Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Riders as well as supporting
Western and English riding styles. The lesson format is equally
applicable to both non-gaited and gaited horse breeds.
The Group Sessions are 7-hours
long and Lunch is included in the class price.
Group Lesson Prices:
$70 Paid in Advance ~ $85 at the door

Private Lesson Prices: $70 for a
90 Minute Session or $100 for a 3-hour Session
(Subject to Scheduling and Availability call for more details)
Lesson Horses are available for the classes.
The cost for the use of a lesson horse is $25 per day. Lesson
Horses must be reserved PRIOR to the weekend of the class.

Heartland Ranch Fees and Charges:
each participant pays a
$10 arena fee
when they are riding, and $15 for a stall (if they wish to use one),
bedding is $7 a bag or the person can bring their own bedding,
hay is $5 per bale and grain is by the bag $15 or BYO, overnight RV
hookup is $15 - the facility can accommodate up to 6 hookups
Note: The original
class fees were $60, I have increased the class fee to $70 to
cover the arena fee. So total class cost is $70
Classes will be held
at the Heartland Ranch facility south of Topeka near Wakarusa KS
Classes Will
Be Held in their Indoor Riding Arena During Inclement Weather
